As you may have discovered by now, basically none of the Webkinz retailers in this area have Webkinz in stock. We are all eagerly waiting for our shipments but are unable to tell you when they will arrive as we do not have this information ahead of time. I am told by my company contact that there are several containers on their way from China. They come by ship, then through customs and then to the warehouse for distribution, so that can be a lengthy process.
The Ganz Company knew the Webkinz concept would be a success and thought they had appropriately planned ahead for new orders, but all their old business models for maintaining order levels were blown out of the water by the demand in 2007 for Webkinz. They now have over 30 factories manufacturing the Webkinz and hope to soon have inventory levels caught up to the demand.
So please remain patient and be assured that I will announce any Webkinz arrivals here on my site. There are exciting new Webkinz products on the horizon sooooo stay tuned!
